Cùl House is a new coastal residence currently in design for a steeply sloping site in Coledale on the NSW South Coast. Positioned between the Illawarra Escarpment and the Pacific Ocean, the project responds to its dramatic setting through a series of carefully framed living spaces, sheltered outdoor rooms and robust material selections suited to the coastal environment.

The design seeks to balance privacy and openness, creating a family home that feels connected to both landscape and ocean while remaining protected from prevailing weather conditions. A restrained palette of natural materials, integrated landscaping and passive environmental principles underpin the architectural response
